CLIL
In Client/Server networks, each computer is either a client or a server.
A Client requests a service o a resurce from the Server and the Server responds
by providing that service or resource.
The network functions, user administration and
applications are cntralised on the server.
C/S networks provide a high level of
security.
A P2P network does not rely on dedicated
servers for communication; instead, it uses direct connections between
clients (peers).
A P2P network has equal peer nodes that
simultaneously function both as client and as server to the other nodes on the
networtk.
A P2P network lacks for proper security
policies.
P2P networks were disigned primarily for small
LANs.
Presently most file and and video-sharing
networks can be classified as P2P networks.
